Our Measures
To optimally position Heizungsmacher as a young start-up in the Swiss market, we have implemented targeted, data-driven actions since August 2020. In parallel, starting in early 2024, we began working on a comprehensive website relaunch, which was completed in mid-April 2025.
Content and domain
- Domain consolidation: In spring 2022, we consolidated the two existing domains (heizungsmacher.ch and solarmacher.ch) into one central, strong domain (heizungsmacher.ch).
- Building a knowledge hub and content optimization: In early 2021, we established a systematically planned information hub. Through relevant knowledge articles, users are engaged early in their customer journey and guided directly to the Heizungsmacher website. From 2024 onwards, AI made content creation even more efficient and of higher quality. At the same time, we optimized content across landing pages, such as product detail pages.
Technical optimizations and monitoring
Our measures also included ongoing technical checks and optimizations:
- Continuous monitoring via Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and Google Analytics 4 made it possible to identify developments at an early stage and respond quickly and data-based to ranking changes.
- Based on this, ongoing error analyses and technical corrections were carried out, including 404 errors, internal linking structures, and structured data.
- Optimization of the heading structure (H1 tags), image SEO (alt tags), and regular content analysis for continuous performance improvement.

From the end of July 2024, Heizungsmacher was mentioned, quoted, and linked in generative response systems such as ChatGPT. The referral traffic, though initially very low, continued to increase as the project progressed.

- SEO success takes time — and pays off: Visibility and rankings rarely improve overnight. Our continuous SEO work since 2020 has been fundamental in positioning Heizungsmacher today as a leading heat-pump installer in Switzerland. The upcoming website relaunch will deliver even better user experiences and reinforce these achievements.
- Content remains essential: In the heat-pump installation industry, users first search for trustworthy information. High-quality knowledge articles have built not only visibility but trust. Thanks to the use of AI-supported content creation, content could be produced even more efficiently from 2024 onwards and be significantly more comprehensive, precise, and thematically in-depth. For 2025, we agreed with our client to further increase content production to drive even more sustainable organic traffic.
